Lightweight graph-plus-vector RAG framework from HKU.
LightRAG layers a knowledge graph over vector embeddings in a dual-level retrieval design, offering much of GraphRAG's relational reasoning at lower cost and complexity. It supports incremental index updates and works acceptably with smaller models. Released as an open-source research project with an accompanying paper.
